Ascent Real Estate was founded by Penny Nathan and Ken Pecus, two leading agents in the competitive San Diego marketplace. The partners share a combined experience of over 27 years as agents, and each has a diverse range of entrepreneurial experience. They created Ascent Real Estate to fill the customer service vacuum formed by the multi-national real estate monoliths as they expanded during the favorable market cycle.

Established in 2005 and headquartered in San Diego, the company is privately held. Ascent Real Estate is comprised of a talented and highly motivated team with extensive experience in all phases of real estate transactions. The company maintains excellent relationships with key players across the residential real estate industry including brokers, home builders, and financial partners. The Ascent Real Estate team is experienced in property sales and acquisitions ranging from expansive estates to single-family homes and condominiums.
